New Characters and Stages Added in Marvel Tōkon Beta

LOS ANGELES, CA — The highly anticipated second closed beta test for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls will begin on December 5, 2025, at midnight Pacific Time. Players around the world will have the opportunity to experience new features in this team-based fighting game developed by PlayStation Studios and Arc System Works.

This beta adds iconic Marvel characters Spider-Man and Ghost Rider, expanding the roster to eight playable fighters. Players can create their own four-character teams, combining heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe.

New stages, Savage Land and the X-Mansion, will also debut during this event. Both stages include unique interactive features, enhancing gameplay dynamics. Savage Land is known for its dinosaur theme, while the X-Mansion showcases characters like Colossus and Professor X in the background.

Feedback from the first beta led to several improvements, including balance adjustments and visual enhancements. “We look forward to hearing your feedback on the new characters and the updated systems,” said a representative from Arc System Works.

The beta will run continuously until December 7 at 11:59 PM PT. On December 5 and 6, players can participate in both CPU battles and online matches. Only online battles will be available on December 7.

Participants in the previous beta will be automatically registered for this one and will receive a reminder email. New players who registered their interest will also receive an invitation email.
