Nicole Brydon Bloom and Justin Theroux Tie the Knot in Dreamy Beach Ceremony

Xpu Ha, Mexico — Actress Nicole Brydon Bloom and actor Justin Theroux celebrated their wedding on Saturday, March 15, in an intimate beach ceremony at Hotel Esencia, just days after announcing their engagement. The couple, who met in 2022, were surrounded by family and friends as they exchanged vows in a picturesque setting amid lush palm trees and ocean views.
Bloom, 30, donned a custom, ethereal wedding gown designed by Victoria Beckham, with Theroux, 53, wearing a suit by Ralph Lauren. In her Instagram post, Bloom expressed her joy, stating, “I loved every minute of this day and every minute in this gown,” alongside a slideshow of stunning images of her dress.
The gown, described as “dreamy” and “flowy,” was crafted from French Chantilly lace and adorned with over 400 hand-cut, hand-stitched flowers. Beckham shared her thoughts on designing the gown, writing, “Designing your gown was such an honor,” on social media shortly after the wedding.
Bloom revealed the story behind her stunning dress in an interview with Vogue, explaining how Beckham had playfully asked about her wedding attire during a couples weekend last year, where they were surrounded by mutual friends. After showing Beckham a few options, Bloom recalled the designer’s vision for an ethereal gown, which “sounded like a dream.”
Planning for the wedding weekend began with a special bonfire on the beach and included a rehearsal dinner featuring local musicians. Bloom described their ceremony as needing to be “pulled back into a tucked-away cove” due to strong winds that day, keeping the ocean in view while sheltering guests from the elements.
As Bloom walked down the flower-lined aisle, her sister performed a moving rendition of “Moon River.” Bloom recalled feeling perfectly adorned in her gown paired with custom Manolo Blahnik sandals, though she chose to go barefoot for part of the event.
After the vows, the couple enjoyed a cocktail hour before attending an exuberant reception complete with mariachi music and heartfelt speeches from family. Their first dance to “I’ve Told Every Little Star”—a reference to Theroux’s connection to the film “Mulholland Drive”—was described as a memorable moment by the groom, who called the ceremony “wonderful” and highlighted the profound nature of Bloom’s vows.
The couple was joined by their nearest and dearest, with Theroux’s long-time friend David Beckham and his wife Victoria among the guests. Reflecting on their experience, Bloom shared, “We danced for three hours straight with all our guests beneath a canopy of disco balls,” encapsulating the joyful atmosphere of their wedding.
