Nicole Kidman On Set Of Babygirl

Nicole Kidman, the acclaimed 57-year-old actress, has revealed that filming the upcoming erotic drama ‘Babygirl‘ was so intense that she had to take a break during production. In the film, Kidman plays Romy, a successful and married company executive who embarks on a passionate affair with her much younger intern, Samuel, portrayed by Harris Dickinson.

The film, directed and written by Halina Reijn, delves into the complexities of Romy’s life as she juggles her career, family, and the newfound relationship. Kidman shared in a candid interview that acting out the intense and intimate scenes sometimes became overwhelming. She described the experience as “almost like a burnout,” highlighting the emotional and physical toll it took on her.

Kidman expressed her frustration during filming, stating, “There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more.’ Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life I’m over it.” Despite the challenges, Kidman was drawn to the project because it allowed her to explore new territory in her acting career.

The film has already garnered significant attention, with Kidman receiving Best Actress honors at the Venice Film Festival following its premiere. The trailer for ‘Babygirl’ offers glimpses into Romy’s life, showcasing her initial meeting with Samuel, their intimate encounters, and her struggles to balance her career and family life. The movie is set to be released in US cinemas on Christmas Day.
