Popular Nigerian music video director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori, widely known as TG Omori, has provided his fans with a positive update regarding his health status. The director revealed that he is planning a full return to work in 2025. This announcement was made on Monday through a series of tweets posted on his verified X account, accompanied by a photograph of himself.

In his statement, TG Omori expressed resilience in the face of health challenges, writing, “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls.” He continued, “Pain has no power over me. Hope the designer covers these scars.” Further expressing his determination, he wrote, “I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!”

In August, TG Omori disclosed that he underwent a kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos. He acknowledged the crucial role of his only brother, who donated one of his kidneys, helping to ensure his survival. Following the procedure, TG Omori has been recuperating from complications related to the transplant.

Despite the challenges, TG Omori remains optimistic about his recovery process. He noted humorously that while he cannot perform a backflip to show his gratitude, he is steadily improving and remains committed to overcoming his health issues. The director also expressed his gratitude for the widespread support received from fans, indicating his eagerness to return to creating music videos that have captivated his audience in the past.
