Meanwhile, in Tamil Nadu, several districts are bracing for heavy rainfall as per the latest updates from the Meteorological Department. The districts of Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, and Thoothukudi are anticipated to experience very heavy rainfall today. An official from the Meteorological Centre stated, “We have issued warnings to the affected regions and necessary precautions are being advised.”
