Oasis Announces Australian Dates for 2025 Reunion Tour
The world-renowned British rock band Oasis has announced the Australian dates for their OASIS LIVE '25 world tour. In a significant moment for music fans, this marks nearly two decades since their last performance in Australia. The tour will take Oasis to stadiums in Sydney and Melbourne as part of a global comeback that has captivated audiences worldwide.
The Australian leg of the tour is being produced by Live Nation and will see Oasis performing in Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on October 31, 2025, followed by a show at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on November 7, 2025. Tickets for the concerts will be released via a fan presale and a general public sale, scheduled to occur between October 14 and October 15, 2024, respectively.
Following an announcement coinciding with the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Oasis clarified that the tour would only include headline shows, firmly dismissing any rumors of participating in festival appearances such as the Glastonbury Festival.
The tour announcement follows the reconciliation of the famously feuding Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, who have set aside their past differences to lead this highly anticipated reunion. Tensions between the siblings, well-documented over the years, culminated in the band’s breakup in 2009, but they now join forces once again for this once-in-a-lifetime tour.
Dynamic ticket pricing, a controversial practice previously used in the United States, will not be applied to the Australian or North American legs of the tour. This decision comes after feedback from fans and scrutiny by British authorities concerning its usage during ticket sales for the band’s UK and Ireland shows earlier this year.
Various artists, including Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, have also chosen not to use dynamic pricing, citing the negative impact on fan experiences. Oasis’s management has stated their commitment to providing a fair and enjoyable ticketing process for fans worldwide.
Oasis initially rose to prominence in the 1990s, enjoying massive success with hits that dominated the ARIA charts and sold over 75 million records globally. Their legacy includes monumental concerts, such as the legendary 1996 Knebworth House shows, which attracted unprecedented crowds. This Australian leg of the OASIS LIVE ’25 tour is highly anticipated and signals a new chapter for the band and its legion of fans.
