Oppo Launches Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro in India, Unveils Powerful Features and Impressive Camera Setup

Oppo has recently introduced its latest smartphones, the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro, in the Indian market. Both devices come packed with innovative features to enhance the user experience. The company has announced that the Reno 12 will be priced at ₹32,999 for the base variant, while the Reno 12 Pro will start at ₹36,999. Interested customers can find these phones available for purchase on popular platforms like Flipkart, as well as Oppo’s online store and various retail outlets.

One of the standout features of the Reno 12 series is the display quality. Both the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels. The screens offer a peak brightness of 1200 nits and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the Reno 12 and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the Reno 12 Pro.

Under the hood, these smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, manufactured using a 4nm process. This chipset is complemented by the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, which ensures smooth performance for various tasks. The Reno 12 Pro model boasts support for up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of USF 3.1 storage, while the Reno 12 offers 8GB of RAM and storage up to 512GB.

Running on the Android 14 operating system with the ColorOS 14.1 skin, the Reno 12 series promises a refreshing user interface experience. Oppo has made a commitment to provide 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches for these devices, aiming for customer satisfaction and longevity.

For photography enthusiasts, the Reno 12’s camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT 600 primary sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. On the other hand, the Reno 12 Pro’s camera configuration consists of a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto lens.

Connectivity options on the Reno 12 series are extensive, with features like an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. Additionally, the phones carry an IP65 rating, certifying their dust-proof and water-resistant designs.
