Xiaomi Unveils Latest Xiaomi 14 Series With Leica At Mwc 2024

Xiaomi, in collaboration with Leica, has launched its newest Xiaomi 14 Series at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. The series includes the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphones, designed to cater to photography and videography enthusiasts.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra stands out with its Leica Summilux optics and a 6.73-inch AMOLED display supporting WQHD+ resolution. It boasts advanced features like 8K 30fps shooting capabilities on all four cameras, Dolby Vision shooting at 4K 60fps, and a 4-Mic array for surround sound recording – offering users a cinematic videography experience.

Powering both the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, coupled with advanced cooling technology for seamless performance. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, in particular, includes the Dual-Channel IceLoop system for efficient thermal management in the camera module.

Highlighting Xiaomi’s focus on software, the Xiaomi 14 Series runs on the innovative HyperOS operating system. This OS brings features like proactive intelligence, end-to-end security, and cross-device connectivity. Additionally, integration with Google Photos ensures secure backup and easy access to stored content.

For extended software support, users of the Xiaomi 14 Series can expect 4 generations of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra pricing starts at CNY 6,499 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, with higher configurations available up to CNY 7,799. A special Titanium Edition of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is also unveiled at CNY 8,799.
