Oriskany Falls Woman Charged After Traffic Stop Uncovers Heroin

CLINTON, N.Y. – An Oriskany Falls woman faces charges following a traffic stop in the Village of Clinton on Sunday afternoon. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office reported that a deputy stopped 43-year-old Tara Gaudin just before 1:30 p.m. for traffic violations.
During the stop, deputies determined that Gaudin was under the influence of substances and discovered two bags of heroin in her vehicle. These findings prompted her arrest.
Gaudin has been charged but is scheduled to return to court at a later date for further proceedings. The Sheriff’s Office continues to emphasize the importance of safe driving and the dangers of driving under the influence.
