NEW YORK — Country music star Orville Peck and two-time Tony Award nominee Eva Noblezada will take on the iconic roles of the Emcee and Sally Bowles in the Broadway revival of “Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club,” producers announced Wednesday. The duo will begin their 16-week run at the August Wilson Theatre on March 31, 2025, succeeding Adam Lambert and Auliʻi Cravalho.

Peck, known for his masked persona and theatrical performances, will make his Broadway debut in the role of the Emcee. “The Emcee has been my dream role since I was a teenager,” Peck said in a statement. “The nature of the character allows for complete freedom of individual expression. That kind of freedom is every actor’s dream.”

Noblezada, who earned Tony nominations for her roles in “Miss Saigon” and “Hadestown,” will portray Sally Bowles. “While studying musical theater in school, ‘Cabaret’ always stood out,” Noblezada said. “Sally Bowles to me is simply… fascinating. She is like a totally conscious child who is also completely unhinged.”

The revival, directed by Rebecca Frecknall, opened in April 2024 and has been praised for its innovative staging and performances. The production received nine Tony Award nominations, winning one for Tom Scutt’s set design. Frecknall expressed excitement about the new cast, stating, “Orville brings such theatricality to his own musical performance, and Eva is truly one of theater’s great leading ladies.”

Peck, a South African-born artist, trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and has released three critically acclaimed albums, including “Pony” and “Bronco.” Noblezada, currently starring in “The Great Gatsby” on Broadway, will transition to “Cabaret” after completing her run as Daisy Buchanan.

The original “Cabaret,” with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, premiered on Broadway in 1966. Its 1972 film adaptation won multiple Oscars, including Best Actress for Liza Minnelli. The latest revival continues to draw audiences with its bold reinterpretation of the classic musical.
