Pascal Siakam Indiana Pacers Game 4

NEW YORK – The Indiana Pacers are poised for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and they are boosted by the return of forward Pascal Siakam, who is fully healthy after recovering from elbow bursitis.

Siakam’s return comes as a significant advantage for the Pacers, who hold a 2-1 series lead against the New York Knicks. According to the team’s medical staff, Siakam has experienced no setbacks since his clearance on April 13 and is ready to contribute without restrictions.

The 30-year-old forward brings a versatile skill set to the court, which has proven effective throughout the playoffs. In Game 2, Siakam scored a career-high 39 points, shooting 65% from the field. His ability to exploit mismatches has caused ongoing problems for the Knicks’ defense.

“Siakam’s skill set is crucial for our strategy,” said Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle. “He’s been a key player all season, and his performance will be vital as we look to extend our lead.”

Siakam has averaged 21.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.9 assists over the last ten games against New York. His mid-range shooting and transition play have forced the Knicks to adapt their defensive schemes, as he holds a playoff usage rate of 18.7, second on the team.

The Pacers are almost at full strength for Game 4, with only reserve big man Isaiah Jackson unavailable due to an Achilles injury. Players like Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner will also support Siakam as they aim for a commanding series lead before heading back to Madison Square Garden.

“Siakam provides us with an edge not only in scoring but also in defense,” Carlisle noted. “His ability to switch on defense and create high-percentage shots is exactly what we need.”

With Siakam back in the lineup, the stakes are high as the Pacers look to close in on the NBA Finals, a feat they hope to accomplish with just two more wins in the series.
