Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover Split After 3 Years of Dating

Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover, stars of Bravo‘s ‘Summer House‘ and ‘Southern Charm,’ respectively, have ended their three-year relationship. The 32-year-old DeSorbo confirmed the split during a recent episode of her podcast, ‘The Giggly Squad,’ emphasizing that the breakup was amicable and mutual.

‘No one did anything, it wasn’t, like, a bad thing,’ DeSorbo told her co-host Hannah Berner. ‘I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want. And I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.’

DeSorbo described Conover, 35, as ‘one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life’ and expressed her continued admiration for him. ‘I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best because he is the best,’ she said. Despite the breakup, DeSorbo hinted that they would remain friends, adding, ‘I love him and I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends.’

Conover, who has not publicly commented on the split, reportedly described the breakup as ‘very unexpected’ in a recent Instagram post. ‘It takes two people to be in a relationship, and you can’t control other people. You can only control how you react to it,’ he said.

DeSorbo also addressed rumors that their split was timed to coincide with the premieres of their respective shows. ‘No one can tell me what to do,’ she said. ‘The network has power, but they don’t have that much power… —again, also not a real thing.’

The couple, who began dating in 2021, had recently spent Thanksgiving together before announcing their separation. DeSorbo emphasized that they took time to process the breakup privately before sharing the news publicly. ‘We both gave each other a little time to deal with it on our own, in private, with our family and friends,’ she explained.

DeSorbo also clarified rumors suggesting she had cheated on Conover with ‘Saturday Night Live‘ star Marcello Hernandez. ‘I was like, ‘Hey, umm … just wanna let you know there’s, like, a rumor going around that I cheated on my boyfriend with you,’ and he was like, ‘F–k yeah!” she recalled on her podcast. She apologized to Hernandez for the unwanted attention, calling the situation ’embarrassing.’

As both stars move forward, fans of ‘Summer House’ and ‘Southern Charm’ will likely see how their personal lives unfold on their respective shows. ‘Summer House’ returns for its ninth season in February, while ‘Southern Charm’ is currently airing its 10th season.
