Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024: PM Modi Stresses on Positive Thinking in Exam Preparation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi successfully concluded the 7th Edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) today at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event, which began at 11:00 AM, was broadcasted live on various channels including Doordarshan‘s DD National, DD News, and DD India, along with other prominent private channels. The event’s live stream was also accessible on radio channels such as All India Radio Medium Wave and All India Radio FM Channel, as well as on several websites including PMO, Ministry of Education, Doordarshan, MyGov.in, and the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Education. The viewership for this edition of PPC reached a combined total of 205.62 lakh students, 14.93 lakh teachers, and 5.69 lakh parents, as per official data.
Pariksha Pe Charcha, an interactive platform, initially took place in New Delhi in a town-hall format. However, due to the Covid pandemic, the format shifted online for the fourth edition, broadcasted on Doordarshan and major TV channels. The fifth and sixth editions returned to the town-hall format, with events held at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi.
During the event, PM Modi addressed several important questions raised by students. One of the key topics discussed was the issue of trust-building among parents concerning students’ hard work. The Prime Minister advised students to analyze trust issues, address underlying concerns, and assess whether they fulfill their claims.
PM Modi emphasized the importance of positive thinking in facing challenges. He encouraged students to embrace challenges, as they bring out the best in a person. The Prime Minister shared his own experience, stating that facing challenges with confidence and a positive attitude helps in overcoming obstacles. He urged students to replace fear with self-belief, challenges with growth, and setbacks with stepping stones.
In his address, PM Modi spoke about various aspects of exam preparation, offering guidance on handling stress, prioritizing health, utilizing technology wisely, maintaining friendships, setting realistic goals, and developing good writing skills. He urged students to have faith in themselves and focus on their own progress instead of comparing themselves to others. The Prime Minister also stressed on the importance of sleep and proper nutrition for the overall well-being of students.
PM Modi also advised students to assess their options and pursue activities aligned with their interests. He encouraged them to be proactive in educating their parents about the benefits of technology and how it can enhance their academic pursuits.
The event concluded on a positive note, with PM Modi urging all participants to replace negativity with positivity and to approach exams with a growth mindset. He emphasized the need for students to believe in their abilities and strive for success.
