HILO, Hawaii — Former UFC champion B.J. Penn has made alarming claims on social media, alleging that his family members have been murdered and replaced by imposters. In a series of Instagram posts, Penn urged local authorities to investigate, expressing fears of a conspiracy targeting him and his property.

In his posts, the UFC Hall of Famer specifically named his mother, Lorraine Shin, and brothers Jay Dee, Reagan, and Kalani Mamazuka as the supposed victims of this conspiracy. “Hilo Police Department, I need your help. My mother… my brothers… we’re all murdered and I need you to investigate,” Penn wrote.

Throughout the videos, Penn highlighted what he described as evidence of the imposters, drawing attention to perceived discrepancies in facial features among family members. “Real Jay Dee has all of his teeth and a pointy chin,” he alleged, contrasting him with what he termed “Fake Jay Dee,” who he claimed is taller and has noticeable dental issues.

“If I harm any of these people that are acting like my mom or my brothers, I go to jail and lose everything,” he posted. “If they harm me, nothing will happen to them and I lose everything.”

In addition to his public appeals, Penn requested assistance from his training partners, many of whom are police officers, asking, “Are you guys gonna help me?” He expressed concern that the imposters are attempting to steal his family’s assets.

This troubling scenario has sparked discussions among fans and members of the UFC community, with many urging Penn to seek professional help. Comments on his videos varied from concern to curiosity, reflecting the broader apprehension about his mental health.

Last month, Penn claimed in a separate Instagram post that his mother was an imposter threatening to sue him, intensifying fears regarding his well-being. The 45-year-old fighter, a two-division champion and prominent figure in mixed martial arts, retired in 2019 after seven consecutive losses, with his final match taking place against Clay Guida at UFC 237.

Despite a challenging end to his fighting career, Penn remains a respected figure in MMA history, known for his exploits in both the lightweight and welterweight divisions. As the situation unfolds, there has been no official response from local authorities regarding his claims.
