Penn Badgley Announces Arrival of Twins Amid Book Promotion

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Actor Penn Badgley, 38, announced the arrival of his twin sons in a heartfelt video shared on September 3. Badgley, who is currently on paternity leave, made the announcement while promoting an upcoming live event for his new book, Crushmore, set for release on October 14.

Badgley and his wife, singer Domino Kirke, 41, first shared news of their impending twins in February, calling the development a “plot twist.” Kirke expressed her excitement on Instagram, stating, “Babies #3 and #4 coming this summer! Spontaneous twins are beyond magical. We are stunned and in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with.”

The couple’s new additions join their 4-year-old son, James, and Kirke’s 16-year-old son, Cassius, from a previous relationship. Badgley opened up about the unique challenges of raising sons, stressing the importance of instilling good values: “The world needs more good men, so you know, pressure’s on us to raise them well,” he said.

Before the twins arrived, Badgley had shared his thoughts on fatherhood during interviews.
