Pennsylvania Primary Election Polling Places

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania‘s 2025 primary election is underway. Polls opened at 7 a.m. today and will close at 8 p.m. Statewide, Democrats and Republicans are casting ballots to fill one vacancy each on Commonwealth Court and Superior Court, as well as municipal races.

Election officials remind voters that if you are in line at 8 p.m., you are still allowed to vote. Voters who have opted for mail-in or absentee ballots must ensure that their completed ballots are received by county election offices by the same closing time.

If you’re unsure of where to vote, you can find your designated polling location on your county’s election website. The deadline to register to vote in this primary was May 5, 2025, so only registered voters may participate.

Additionally, voters who are not registered with a major party can still engage in local ballot initiatives today. Voters labeled as inactive can still cast their ballots by signing a form at their polling place.

To check the status of mail-in ballots, voters should use their county election office’s resources, ensuring that their ballots are delivered in person to avoid postal delays. Provisional ballots are available for those who have issues at the polls.
