Powerball Jackpot Climbs to $100 Million After No Saturday Winner
DES MOINES, Iowa — The Powerball jackpot has surged to $100 million for Monday night’s drawing after no one claimed the top prize in Saturday’s draw. Players now have another chance to win big, with the next drawing scheduled for shortly after 11 p.m. ET.
If a lucky player matches all six numbers, they can opt for a one-time cash payment of $45.3 million. While no one hit the jackpot on Saturday, a $1 million winner emerged in Florida, and another player in Oregon secured a significant prize earlier this month.
The winning numbers for Monday’s Powerball drawing were 12, 37, 47, 54, 60, with a Powerball of 17 and a Power Play multiplier of 3X. Lottery officials will announce any winners shortly after the drawing.
Powerball tickets cost $2 per play, with players selecting five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls and one number from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball. An optional $1 Power Play can multiply non-jackpot winnings by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X. For those who prefer random selections, the “Quick Pick” option generates numbers automatically.
Drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Tickets are available at gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores, as well as online in select states and territories, including Arizona, Colorado, New York, and Texas. The Jackpocket app, the official digital lottery courier of the USA TODAY Network, also offers ticket purchasing services.
Players must be at least 18 years old to participate, with higher age requirements in some states. For those struggling with gambling addiction, resources are available through state-specific helplines.
The next drawing will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 5, just after 11 p.m. ET. Stay tuned for updates on potential winners.
