Powerball Lottery Ticket And Winning Numbers

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $272 million for the next drawing after no one matched all winning numbers in Wednesday’s drawing on Feb. 26, 2025. Although the grand prize remained unclaimed, thousands of Ohio players won smaller prizes.

The winning numbers from the latest drawing were 28, 48, 55, 60, 62, and the Powerball was 20, with a Power Play multiplier of 2x. The jackpot prize comes with a cash option worth $124.4 million.

Nationally, the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, while the odds of winning any prize stand at 1 in 24.9, according to lottery officials. For a $1 million ticket, players have odds of 1 in 11,688,053.52, which is slightly better compared to the Mega Millions.

Northeast Ohio has seen significant Powerball winners in the past, including a notable winner from a GetGo in Macedonia during the April 19 drawing in 2023. The excitement in the state continues as players hope to add their names to the list of winning ticket holders.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. ET. With tickets selling for $2 each, players can enhance their winnings by adding the Power Play option for an additional $1.

Georgia experienced a similar outcome on a recent drawing held on Feb. 24, where players did not secure the estimated $230 million jackpot. The winning numbers were 10, 11, 34, 59, 68, and Powerball 14. The Power Play option for that drawing was 3x.

Powerball drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET. Players can check their tickets through the official Powerball website or at local lottery retailers to see if they hold a winning ticket.

Many players across the nation feel motivated as larger jackpots bring increased participation. With the jackpot growing, the anticipation builds leading up to each drawing.
