Powerball Drawing Jackpot October 2025

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Powerball jackpot continues to rise after no player claimed the estimated $358 million prize in the drawing held on Monday, Oct. 27. The cash option for the jackpot stands at approximately $170.7 million.

The winning numbers for Monday night’s drawing were 17, 39, 43, 51, 66, with the Powerball being 20. The Power Play multiplier was set at 2X. Despite a large pool of players, no one matched all six numbers to win the jackpot.

However, one ticket matched all five white ball numbers except for the Powerball, scoring a $1 million prize. Previous drawings also saw significant wins, including multiple tickets that matched all five numbers for lower tier prizes.

The jackpot is set to increase to an estimated $376 million for the next drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 29, with a cash option now pegged at $179.3 million. Powerball drawings occur three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET.

Players can participate in Powerball by buying tickets for $2 at various locations, including gas stations and supermarkets. For an additional $1, players can add a Power Play feature, which can multiply non-jackpot prizes up to five times.

According to lottery officials, the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot stand at a staggering 1 in 292.2 million. Despite the odds, the game continues to attract players eager for a chance at wealth.

Ticket sales cut-off times vary by region, so players are encouraged to purchase tickets well ahead of the drawing. In New Jersey, for example, ticket sales close at 9:59 p.m. on draw day.
