Powerball Jackpot Reaches $134 Million After Saturday Drawing

CLEVELAND — The Powerball jackpot soared to $134 million after no one won the top prize in the latest drawing on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The winning numbers for the drawing were 7, 34, 40, 42, 52, and Powerball 15, with a Power Play multiplier of 2x.
Previous to this drawing, three Powerball jackpots were won in 2025, including a notable $328.5 million prize in Oregon and a $527 million win. Lottery officials are still awaiting reports on winners from the latest drawing, where thousands of smaller prizes were awarded throughout Ohio.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, May 19, at 10:59 p.m. ET. Players can purchase tickets for $2 at local retailers, including convenience stores and supermarkets, or online in certain states.
To play, participants must select six numbers: five white balls from a set of 69 and one red Powerball from a range of 1 to 26. An optional “Power Play” can be added for an extra dollar to multiply winnings for non-jackpot prizes.
According to the Ohio Lottery, the odds of winning the $1 million prize are approximately 1 in 11,688,053.52. The jackpot continues to climb if no winners emerge, enticing more players to join in for upcoming draws.
For those interested in digital convenience, the Jackpocket app allows users to order and manage their lottery tickets on their smartphones. The app is one of several means available for purchasing tickets online in participating states.
