Powerball Jackpot Soars to $444 Million Ahead of Saturday Drawing

ROCKLAND, N.Y. — Players dream of becoming millionaires as the Powerball jackpot reaches an estimated $444 million for the drawing on Saturday, March 22, 2025. With a cash option of $209.2 million, this jackpot comes after no one matched all six numbers in the previous drawing.
The last Powerball jackpot was won on January 18, 2025, when a single ticket holder in Oregon took home $328.5 million. The Mega Millions jackpot currently stands at $344 million.
Powerball drawings occur three times a week at 10:59 p.m. ET on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. In New York, tickets are available up until 10 p.m. on the day of the drawing, while in New Jersey, the cutoff is 9:45 p.m.
To play, participants select five numbers from 1 to 69 and one number from 1 to 26, which serves as the Powerball. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, while a $2 ticket is the price of entry.
The last batch of winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing was comprised of 6, 7, 25, 46, 57, and the Powerball number 12, with a Power Play multiplier of 3x. With every drawing, excitement builds as players anticipate whether their ticket will yield a life-changing prize.
“It’s truly a game of numbers and luck,” said a spokesperson for the New York Lottery. “Each drawing brings a new chance at winning big, and we’re eager to see if there will be a winner this time.”
In addition to the main jackpot, Powerball also offers smaller prizes for matching fewer numbers. A participant matching just the Powerball will win $4, while matching one of the five white balls and the Powerball will yield the same amount.
The complete list of previous Powerball winners is available for viewing on the official lottery website for those interested in seeing if luck is on their side in future draws.
As anticipation grows, all eyes will be on the upcoming drawing on March 24, 2025. Until then, players are encouraged to check the Powerball website for further details on how to play safely and responsibly.
