Prime Minister Modi Lays Foundation Stone For Kalki Dham In Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for the Kalki Dham temple in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh today. The Kalki Dham temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu‘s 10th avatar, known as Bhagwan Kalki. In Hindu scriptures, Lord Vishnu incarnates in ten forms, with nine avatars already appeared and the tenth avatar yet to be born.

The sacred scriptures mention that Lord Kalki’s birth will take place in a Brahmin family named Vishnuyasha in Sambhal on the fifth day of the bright half of the month of Shravan. Lord Kalki’s father will be a devout follower of Lord Vishnu and will possess deep knowledge of the Vedas and Puranas. Lord Kalki is prophesied to descend upon a white horse, riding to vanquish the evil forces towards the end of the Kali Yuga.

According to tradition, the advent of Lord Kalki signals the beginning of a new Sat Yuga and the end of the Kali Yuga. The Kali Yuga, which began over 5,000 years ago, is believed to span a total of 432,000 years. With approximately 4,26,875 years left for the completion of this era, the birth of Lord Kalki is still far off in the future.

The purpose of Lord Kalki’s incarnation is said to be to eradicate adharma, restore righteousness, and rejuvenate moral values as the Kali Yuga nears its climax. Lord Kalki is prophesied to appear on a white horse armed with 64 arts, bringing an end to the current age marked by moral and social decline.

With the auspicious laying of the foundation stone for the Kalki Dham temple, Prime Minister Modi continues to promote symbolic and spiritual projects across India. The temple architecture will include ten sanctums to represent each of Lord Vishnu’s ten avatars, including Lord Kalki. The temple will encompass 68 sacred sites and is set to be completed within five years.
