QTCinderella Faces Backlash for Defending Controversial Friendships
Los Angeles, CA – Popular Twitch streamer Blaire “QTCinderella” is under fire after defending her friendships with individuals accused of racism and homophobia. During a recent Twitch livestream with fellow streamers Emily “Vanillamace” and KatieB, her comments sparked intense online debate.
In a clip that quickly went viral, the 30-year-old content creator stated, “I will never believe that if I’m kind to a hateful person, that means I agree with them. If I’m around a racist person, that doesn’t make me racist.” The video, shared on X by user @daddybludd on October 25, ignited a flurry of reactions across social media.
Critics accused QTCinderella of enabling harmful behavior, particularly after her statements were compared to past controversies involving her boyfriend, Ludwig Ahgren. One user resurfaced a clip of Ahgren allegedly making homophobic jokes during TwitchCon San Diego 2025.
Despite her claims against offensive humor, QTCinderella admitted discomfort with certain jokes made by her friend Nick “Lacy” of FaZe Clan, stating, “Lacy makes some homophobic jokes sometimes, and I’m not comfortable with that. He knows he can’t make those jokes around me.” Yet many questioned how her friendships reflected her values.
Following the backlash, Emily “Vanillamace” publicly distanced herself from QTCinderella’s comments, stating, “You know what I stand for. If you’ve watched me, then you already know.” She later announced a break from streaming. Meanwhile, streamer Fanfan defended QTCinderella, claiming her opinions were misinterpreted, which only deepened the ongoing debate.
As a result of this controversy, QTCinderella’s remarks have become one of the most talked-about topics in the streaming community this week. As of now, she has not issued a public statement addressing the growing criticism.
