Rainbow Six Siege X Launches Tomorrow with Exciting New Features

ATLANTA, Georgia — Ubisoft is set to launch Rainbow Six Siege X on June 10, 2025, offering players a range of new features including upgraded maps and a brand-new game mode called Dual Front.
The servers will begin maintenance at 10 AM Eastern Time, expected to last 90 minutes. This launch will mark a significant overhaul of the original game, aligning with its 10th anniversary.
Players can look forward to a free-to-play tier, allowing newcomers to enjoy casual gameplay and access to 26 Operators without a purchase. However, ranked modes remain behind a paywall, along with additional operators reserved for paying customers.
Siege X will debut with five modernized maps, featuring updates like enhanced lighting and destructible ingredients. Among these maps are Clubhouse, Chalet, Kafe, Bank, and Border. Players can utilize elements like fire extinguishers and gas pipes as tactical maneuvers against opponents.
The highlight of Siege X is the introduction of the Dual Front mode, a unique 6v6 experience allowing both attackers and defenders to work together on a larger map, which provides various objectives and allows for player respawns.
Ubisoft also aims to enhance the esports experience with a dedicated esports tab in the menu, where players can follow tournament stats and news. This follows a series of changes intended to enrich gameplay and maintain community engagement.
Additionally, the update includes operator balancing—most notably the rework of the Clash character, which has been a topic of concern for the community. Whether you’re a veteran player or new to the game, Siege X promises to reshape the experience for years to come.
With these extensive updates and features, Ubisoft is poised to breathe new life into Rainbow Six Siege, cementing its place in the hearts of gamers worldwide.
