Colorado Springs Weather Forecast Rain

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Heavy rain and wind overnight have started to clear up this morning, with cooler temperatures expected throughout the day. A low-pressure system is moving into Kansas, pushing the rain southeast.

By 10 a.m., forecasters expect only a few lingering showers over the eastern Plains. The rest of the day will see mostly cloudy skies and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Daily highs will remain significantly below average, reaching only into the 50s and 60s. In Colorado Springs, the high is projected at 60 degrees with a low of 46. Pueblo is anticipating a high of 64 degrees and a low of 49.

Rain will taper off this morning throughout the Pikes Peak Region, but sporadic rain and thunderstorms are still possible. Canon City is expected to reach a high of 64 degrees and a low of 51, while Woodland Park will be cooler at a high of 55 and a low of 39.

The forecasts for Walsenburg and Trinidad predict highs in the 50s and 60s with lows in the 40s. The turbulent weather will persist in Teller County, where breezy and chilly conditions will accompany periods of rain.

Looking ahead, highs will increase slightly by 5-10 degrees on Wednesday, but they’ll still fall short of average temperatures, peaking in the upper 60s. Weather conditions are expected to shift towards typical patterns by midweek, featuring dry mornings and potential thunderstorms in the afternoons.

Forecasts indicate a continued active weather pattern through the weekend, with daily chances of scattered rain and storms, particularly in higher terrains.
