Realme Introduces Realme 12+ 5G Series in India with Impressive Features

Realme unveiled its latest offerings, the Realme 12+ 5G and Realme 12 5G, in India today, targeting the budget smartphone segment with a range of impressive features.

The Realme 12+ 5G boasts a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 octa-core chipset, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

One of the standout features of the Realme 12+ 5G is its cutting-edge 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera, complete with OIS technology, a standout addition in its segment. Complementing the main sensor are an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP portrait sensor, offering users a versatile photography experience.

In terms of software, the Realme 12+ 5G runs on Realme UI 5.0, based on the latest Android 14 operating system. Realme has also promised regular security updates for three years and operating system updates for two years, ensuring users stay up-to-date.

On the other hand, the Realme 12 5G features a slightly smaller 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a similar 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The camera setup on the Realme 12 5G includes a high-resolution 108MP main lens and a 2MP portrait sensor for capturing stunning images. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP front camera housed in a tiny punch-hole cutout.

Both models come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery to ensure long-lasting performance, though the Realme 12+ 5G supports faster 67W charging compared to the 45W charging on the Realme 12 5G.

The Realme 12+ 5G is available in Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige color options, with two storage configurations: 8GB/128GB priced at ₹20,999 and 8GB/256GB at ₹21,999. On the other hand, the Realme 12 5G comes in Twilight Purple and Woodland Green shades, with prices starting at ₹16,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and ₹17,999 for the 8GB/128GB version.
