Record-breaking Fundraiser for Discovery House Addiction Homes for Men on Father’s Day
Skaha Lake Park saw a record-breaking fundraising event on Father’s Day, with more than $25,000 raised for Discovery House Addiction Homes for Men. Despite the pouring rain, attendees enjoyed various family-friendly activities at the fundraiser.
A highlight of the event was the ‘celebrity’ dunk tank, which drew in many participants. Leif, the son of the late Jerome Abraham, emerged as the top celebrity with over $1,500 in pledges. Executive Director Blaine Russell expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received.
