Regina’s Easter Weekend Schedule: What’s Open and Closed

Residents of Regina can expect certain closures and adjusted schedules during the upcoming Easter weekend. While city offices will be closed on Good Friday and will resume operations on Tuesday, public transportation will run on Sunday routes and schedules on Good Friday, and return to regular operating hours on Easter Monday. Parking meters will not be enforced during this time.

According to the City of Regina’s website, most locations will be open on Good Friday and Easter Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the exception of the office which will be closed. The North West Leisure Centre and the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre will be closed on Good Friday and Sunday, with operating hours on Easter Monday set from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

For those looking to stay active, the Sportplex Fieldhouse and Lawson Aquatic Centre will be open on both Good Friday and Easter Monday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Shopping enthusiasts can head to the Cornwall Centre, Southland Mall, and Northgate Mall, which will all be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, Regina’s Costco will maintain its regular operating hours over the Easter long weekend.
