Restaurants Celebrate National Chocolate Cake Day with Sweet Deals
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — National Chocolate Cake Day on Monday is bringing a wave of sweet deals and indulgent desserts from major restaurant chains, including Cracker Barrel and The Cheesecake Factory. The annual celebration has prompted eateries to roll out special promotions and highlight their signature chocolate treats.
Cracker Barrel is offering a free slice of its Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake to dine-in customers who spend at least $10 on Monday. The cake, described as a warm double chocolate fudge cake made with real Coca-Cola, is a fan favorite. Meanwhile, The Cheesecake Factory is enticing customers with a gift card promotion. For every $50 spent on gift cards purchased online through their Cheesecake Rewards account, members will receive a $10 dining credit. The credits, issued through Feb. 18, are valid from Feb. 19 to March 31 and must be redeemed in-restaurant.
While some chains are not offering specific deals for the occasion, they are showcasing their chocolate cake offerings. IHOP’s Chocolate Chocolate Chip Pancakes feature four chocolate pancakes filled with chocolate chips and topped with chocolate syrup. Chili’s Grill & Bar is promoting its Molten Chocolate Cake, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle, available year-round for $3.99 as a mini dessert add-on.
Applebee’s is highlighting its Triple Chocolate Meltdown, a fudge-filled chocolate cake drizzled with hot fudge and served with vanilla ice cream. Domino’s is offering its Chocolate Lava Crunch Cake, which includes three oven-baked chocolate cakes with molten chocolate fudge inside, as part of its $6.99 mix-and-match deal. Outback Steakhouse’s Chocolate Tower Cake, a six-layer chocolate cake with whipped cream and raspberry sauce, and Carrabba’s Italian Grill’s Sogno Di Cioccolata “Chocolate Dream,” featuring a fudge brownie and chocolate mousse, round out the indulgent options.
For those celebrating at home, bakeries like Bakingo and Barista are offering premium chocolate cakes. Bakingo’s Choco Dream Cake, priced at ₹699 for 0.5 kg, features rich chocolate layers, creamy mousse, and a cocoa dusting. Barista’s Chocolate Excess, priced at ₹750 for 0.5 kg, is an eggless option topped with cocoa truffle and caramel drizzle. The Big Chill Cakery’s Chocolate Mousse Cake and Honey & Dough’s Belgian Truffle Cake are also standout choices for the occasion.
