Retro Diet Coke Lime Return Announcement

Bottling Plant, USA – Coca-Cola is bringing back a fan-favorite flavor, Retro Diet Coke Lime, on October 6. This flavor was originally launched in 2004, but it was discontinued in 2018. Although it remained available in Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, fans have not seen it in can or bottle form for seven years.

Retro Diet Coke Lime will return in retro-inspired cans and bottles, featuring vibrant packaging reminiscent of its original launch. The drink will be available in 12-pack cans and single 20-ounce bottles, but only for a limited time.

Coca-Cola has previously revived nostalgic flavors, including bringing back Diet Coke with Lime. This particular variety is highly anticipated by many, with pre-orders already available for the 12-packs. The company has not specified all retailers where it will be sold, but major sellers are expected to stock it nationwide.

Social media is buzzing with excitement over the return. One fan expressed, “This is my very favorite drink!!!” while another added, “I’ve been waiting (not so patiently) for it to return! Happy Day!” Coca-Cola aims to appeal not just to long-time fans but also to new customers, highlighting both the retro connection and modern refreshment.

Diet Coke teased the comeback last week on social media with a playful caption, drawing plenty of fan engagement. The company expressed its enthusiasm for the revival, reminding fans that while they can savor the nostalgia, this limited edition will only be around for a short time.
