Powerball Lottery Win Ticket Rocklin California

ROCKLIN, Calif. — A Powerball ticket sold at the Rocklin Mini Mart on Pacific Street has won a sizable second-place prize of $5,717,713 during Wednesday night’s draw.

According to California lottery officials, the ticket matched five of the six numbers drawn: 5, 20, 29, 39, 53, and missed the Powerball, which was 6. Despite the lack of a jackpot winner, this significant payout will impact the ticket holder’s financial future.

The odds of matching five numbers in the Powerball draw are approximately one in 11,688,054, while the odds of winning the entire jackpot are considerably slimmer at one in 292,201,338.

Rocklin Mini Mart will also benefit from this sale, earning $28,500 for selling the winning ticket. The successful ticket holder can claim their prize by visiting a local lottery district office or submitting a claim by mail. They will need to present their winning ticket and complete a necessary claim form within 180 days from the draw date.

The Powerball jackpot is climbing, now estimated at $515 million ahead of the next drawing scheduled for Saturday.

Participation in the lottery not only provides an opportunity for life-changing cash prizes but also contributes to public education funding in California, making each ticket purchased a potential benefit to local schools.
