Rod Stewart to Perform in Huntsville for First Time Since 2001
HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — Rod Stewart, the iconic rock singer, is set to perform at the Orion Amphitheater on April 17, 2025. This concert marks his return to Huntsville after performing at the Von Braun Center in 2001.
Known for hit songs such as “Maggie May,” “Hot Legs,” and “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?,” Stewart has made a significant impact on the music scene with his raspy, soulful vocals. He first gained major recognition in the late 1960s as part of the Jeff Beck Group, showcasing his talent in blues-rock, before moving on to form the Faces, a band well-known for their boozy boogie rock.
Stewart’s solo career took off in the 1970s with acclaimed albums like “Gasoline Alley” and singles such as “You Wear It Well.” Throughout the ’80s and ’90s, he adapted to the evolving music landscape, releasing hits like “Young Turks” and “Downtown Train.” More recently, his “Great American Songbook” series highlighted his versatility as a standards crooner.
As a two-time inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Stewart was honored as a solo artist in 1993 and as a member of the Faces in 2012. Excitement is building as there have been discussions about new material involving Stewart and guitarist Ron Wood, sparking interest among classic rock fans.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on November 14, with prices ranging from $59.50 to $199.50, according to Live Nation, the concert promoter. The anticipation for Stewart’s return to Huntsville is palpable, as fans eagerly await this memorable concert event.
