Cc Sabathia Yankees Game

New York, NY — Former Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia took a jab at former teammate Clint Frazier over ticket distribution for Game 3 of the American League Division Series. When Frazier asked if he should sit with the Bleacher Creatures during the game on Tuesday, Sabathia responded, “F–kin [clown emoji].”

Frazier, who spent his first five seasons with the Yankees, has been openly critical of the organization since signing with the Chicago Cubs in 2020. He has voiced concerns about the Yankees’ reliance on analytics and even stated they would not win the World Series this year. Earlier this week, he criticized the team for sitting Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Ben Rice in their wild-card series matchup.

After joining the Cubs, Frazier reacted to a Twitter post expressing relief that he was no longer with the Yankees by writing, “so am I.” Sabathia, during a podcast episode, expressed his frustrations over the continued discussions surrounding Frazier’s departure from the Yankees, saying, “S–t is ridiculous. That kid played 15 games in the f–king big leagues. Get the f–k out of here with all these stupid-ass f–king stories.”

Sabathia and Frazier overlapped during the final three seasons of Sabathia’s impactful career. The former Yankees ace was known for his fiery personality and strong opinions about the team’s dynamics.

As the Yankees face potential elimination, they are set to host the Toronto Blue Jays next week, with Game 4 scheduled for Wednesday if necessary. Their playoff chances are currently on shaky ground, as Luis Gil struggled in a recent outing, allowing two solo home runs and failing to deliver when the bases were loaded.
