Sad Loss for Victory Life Bible Church as Rev. Fola Achudume Passes Away

The Victory Life Bible Church in Abeokuta, Ogun State is mourning the loss of Rev. Fola Achudume, the wife of the church’s General Overseer, Apostle Lawrence Achudume. She passed away early Saturday morning after a brief illness, at the age of 55.

The news was shared with church members during Sunday service by Pastor Adeoye Adeyanju, the Assistant General Overseer. He conveyed the heartbreaking message, saying, “At this juncture, I want to announce to VLBC members, everyone, and friends that in the early hours of yesterday, our mother, Rev. Fola Achudume, has gone to be with the Lord.” He also mentioned that she was set to celebrate her 56th birthday on September 6.

A close family friend, Mr Tunde Oladunjoye, who also serves as the Publicity Secretary for the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, confirmed the sad news. Describing it as the worst news of the year, he expressed his shock and sorrow, saying, “So hard to believe! So saddening! My consolation is that she has gone to join the saints.”
