Sam Hou Fai Confirmed as Macao’s New Chief Executive
The Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) has officially announced the results of its sixth-term chief executive election. The Macao SAR Official Gazette published an announcement from the Court of Final Appeal on Monday, confirming Sam Hou Fai as the elected candidate.
The election, held on October 13, saw a total of 400 registered election committee members, with 398 members casting their votes. Sam Hou Fai secured 394 valid votes in favor, solidifying his position as the new chief executive of Macao.
