Sana Javed Faces Unwanted Chants At Psl 2024 Match

Pakistani actor Sana Javed, who is married to cricketer Shoaib Malik, found herself in a disconcerting situation at a recent Pakistan Super League match. At the match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans, Javed experienced unwelcome chants of ‘Sania Mirza,’ the name of Malik’s ex-wife. This incident was captured in a viral video that captured Javed’s reaction to the situation.

Amidst a section of the audience at the match getting rambunctious, Javed, there to support Malik playing for Karachi Kings, faced the inappropriate chants. Despite her efforts to remain composed, the audience persisted in filming her while chanting Sania Mirza’s name. The video showcased Javed responding with a blank gaze before managing to ignore the chants by turning her head away.

Several videos circulating from the match depicted Javed calmly making her way to the VIP section, indicating her intent to not be affected by the taunts. Even as she took her place in the VIP section, the chants continued. At one point, she was seen conversing with someone nearby, seeking a reprieve from the relentless remarks.

Following the incident, Javed received both criticism and support from fans on social media. Some of her supporters lauded her for maintaining her composure, emphasizing the need to respect individuals regardless of personal relationships. Others noted that every individual has the right to choose their partner, highlighting the need for understanding and empathy.

Noteworthy in this scenario is that Shoaib Malik was previously married to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, with whom he shares a son named Izhaan Mirza Malik. The couple’s recent marriage had surprised many, as the news of Malik and Javed tying the knot came following their previous divorces. While Sania’s family confirmed the divorce between her and Malik, Javed faced the repercussions of public scrutiny during the cricket match.
