Saudi Prince Declares Hajj 2025 Safe and Successful

MINA, Saudi Arabia — Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Deputy Emir of Makkah and Vice Chair of the Permanent Hajj and Umrah Committee, announced that this year’s Hajj pilgrimage was successful and safe.
According to Prince Saud, this year’s observance of the fifth pillar of Islam was free from incidents related to security, health, or services. He shared this information from the Governor’s Office in Makkah on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
In his statement, Prince Saud congratulated the leadership of Saudi Arabia, particularly Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Emir of Makkah, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, along with the Minister of Interior and Chair of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif.
“On behalf of all Hajj officials, I extend sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for successfully implementing operational plans that allowed pilgrims to perform their rituals safely and peacefully,” Prince Saud said, as reported by Saudi Gazette on Monday, June 9, 2025.
He also expressed appreciation to all sectors involved, including security, health, public services, and volunteers who contributed to the success of this year’s Hajj season. Prince Saud emphasized that this success stemmed from the dedication and commitment to serve the guests of Allah, following the directives of the Kingdom’s leadership.
He praised participants from various countries for their cooperation and adherence to the regulations set forth by Saudi Arabia, noting this cooperation was a significant factor in this year’s successful Hajj operation.
