Search Underway for Texas Woman Who Abducted Two Children

JUSTICEBURG, Texas — Authorities are searching for a woman accused of abducting two children from a small community in Texas. Magali Mejia Sanchez, 32, reportedly took 11-year-old Cindy Casas Mejia and 14-year-old Edward Casas Mejia on Sunday evening.

An AMBER Alert was issued soon after the alleged abduction, alerting the public to the situation. The alert describes the children as being from Justiceberg, a small, unincorporated area located about an hour southeast of Lubbock.

According to the alert, Mejia Sanchez is driving a blue 2008 BMW 328i. The vehicle has a Colorado license plate with the number 7785345. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the case or the whereabouts of the suspect and the children to come forward.

This incident has raised concerns in the local community, with residents expressing fear for the children’s safety. Officials have not disclosed any motive for the alleged abduction at this time.
