Hail Storm Impacts Cars And Homes

City, State – A severe hailstorm swept through the area on Friday evening, causing damage to vehicles and roofs. Eyewitnesses reported seeing hailstones that varied in size, making for an alarming sight.

The storm occurred while many residents were participating in 2XP Friday, an event in the popular online word game, Wordle, where players earn double points for their guesses. Players around the world engage in the daily puzzle, trying to guess a hidden five-letter word.

One avid player shared his experience of the game amid the inclement weather. “It’s kind of insane outside, but I’m committed to my Wordle today,” he said. Starting with the word ‘SPADE,’ he noted he received clues that helped narrow down possibilities but ultimately missed the answer.

Despite getting close with his guess ‘DAILY,’ the correct answer was ‘DALLY.’ This player expressed frustration stating, “The Bot has consistently beaten me all month long, and when it’s not trouncing me, we’re getting ties.” He currently has amassed 14 points, while the Wordle Bot leads with 25 points.

The word ‘dally’ comes from the Middle English ‘dallyen,’ meaning to chat or waste time. This reflects the playful spirit embraced by players as they navigate the daily challenges presented by Wordle.

As the storm continues, residents remain hopeful for repairs and a quicker return to calmer weather.
