Baltimore Weather Forecast March 2025

BALTIMORE, Maryland — A significant change in weather is forecasted for the Baltimore area as the weekend approaches, with cooler temperatures giving way to potential storms. From March 12 to March 14, 2025, the region is expected to experience a shift that could bring severe weather conditions.

After a pleasant stretch of weather with temperatures dipping into the low 60s on Wednesday, residents will notice a chill as highs struggle to reach the mid-50s on Thursday and Friday. Meteorologists predict that by Saturday, temperatures will rise again, reaching the mid-60s and potentially nearing the low 70s as a warm front moves in.

However, the good weather will be short-lived. According to forecasts, clouds will blanket the skies by Thursday, leading to showers late Saturday afternoon and an increased chance of thunderstorms on Sunday. Forecasters caution that some of the storms may turn severe.

“While the exact details are still emerging, we are monitoring conditions closely,” said meteorologist Amy Aaronson. “The models suggest that we could see strong gusts and heavy rainfall as the cold front approaches Sunday evening.”

The strongest storms are expected to arrive late Sunday and into early Monday morning, coinciding with a potential drop in temperatures. Following the storm system’s passage, drier air is anticipated to settle in briefly before temperatures fluctuate again midweek.
