Shania Twain and Lainey Wilson to Shine at P.E.I. Country Music Festival in 2025
Exciting news for country music fans! Shania Twain and Lainey Wilson are set to headline the 2025 Cavendish Beach Music Festival. This announcement came from organizers Whitecap Entertainment earlier this week.
This announcement follows just two weeks after the successful end of the festival’s 15th annual event in the beloved Prince Edward Island tourism spot.
Shania Twain will take to the stage on Thursday, July 10, while Lainey Wilson will perform on Saturday, July 12. If you’re looking to catch the performances, one-day passes for Thursday start at $190 plus tax, and Saturday passes begin at $164 plus tax. Festival tickets are already available for purchase on the Cavendish Beach Music Festival website.
Shania is a true icon, known for being the top-selling female country-pop artist of all time. With five Grammy Awards and over 100 million albums sold globally, she shows no signs of stopping at 58 years old. In 2023, she launched her global Queen of Me tour, which was highlighted as one of the top 10 highest-grossing country tours of the year.
Some of her memorable hits include classics like “Any Man of Mine,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” “You’re Still the One,” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”
On the other hand, Lainey Wilson, who is 32 years old and from Louisiana, will be making her first trip to Prince Edward Island. She was recently named the Country Music Association’s entertainer of the year and has a role in Season 5 of the popular TV show Yellowstone.
This year, she also took home the Grammy Award for country album of the year with her album, Bell Bottom Country. The duo will join a list of celebrity alumni who have graced the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in the past, including stars like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, and Brad Paisley.
