Two young girls, identified as Lulu Gribbin and McCray Faust from Mountain Brook, Alabama, were critically injured in separate shark attacks in Walton County, Florida, as reported by WBRC.

The first incident occurred at Watersound Beach, where a 45-year-old woman faced a shark attack resulting in severe injuries to her midsection, pelvic area, and left lower arm amputation. She was airlifted to HCA Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in critical condition.

Shortly after, the second attack involving Gribbin and McCray took place at Seacrest Beach, leaving one girl with significant injuries to her extremities and the other with flesh wounds to her foot. They were taken to different medical facilities for treatment.

Following the incidents, a search by the Panama City Beach Police Department and Bay County Sheriff’s Office revealed the presence of bull sharks near the first sandbar, raising concerns about beach safety in the area.
