Sheetz to Open Four New Travel Centers with Trucker-Friendly Amenities

Convenience store chain Sheetz is set to open four new travel center locations this month, enhancing its services to cater to the needs of truck drivers. These new stores will be located in Virginia, North Carolina, and Michigan, marking a significant expansion in the company’s efforts to provide trucker-friendly amenities.

The new locations include a store in Middletown, Virginia, at 121 Confidence Lane, which will feature nine truck driver lanes and easy access from exit 302 on I-81. Another store will be in Asheville, North Carolina, at 5440 Asheville Highway in Hendersonville, offering four truck driver lanes and accessible from exit 44 on I-26.

In Warsaw, North Carolina, the new site at 2543 W NC 24 Highway, just off I-40 on exit 364, will boast five truck driver lanes. Additionally, Sheetz will open its first store in Michigan at 33380 Wick Road in Romulus, featuring four truck driver lanes and accessible from exit 197 on I-94.

Each of these new travel centers will offer high flow diesel fuel and Diesel Exhaust Fluid for commercial trucks, a truck scale, and free overnight truck parking spaces. These amenities are designed to make stops more convenient and efficient for truck drivers.

Founded in 1952, Sheetz currently operates more than 740 locations and continues to expand its services to meet the evolving needs of its customers, particularly those in the trucking industry.
