Shooting at Greenville Apartment Leaves One Injured, Investigation Underway

GREENVILLE, S.C. — A shooting at Boulder Creek Apartments sent one man to the hospital on Thursday afternoon, prompting a search for the suspect. The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call reporting gunfire around 4:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man inside an apartment suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. The condition of the victim has not been disclosed.
Currently, no suspects are in custody, and investigators are working diligently to gather information regarding the incident. According to the Sheriff’s Office, details remain limited at this time.
“We are encouraging anyone with information to come forward,” said a spokesperson from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office. “Every bit of information helps us piece together what happened here.”
Residents near the area reported hearing multiple gunshots prior to the police response, creating a sense of alarm within the community. “It’s concerning to hear gunfire so close to home,” one resident stated. “We just want our neighborhood to be safe.”
