Shooting at Pierre Pierre Restaurant Leaves Two Injured in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. – An investigation is underway after a shooting at the upscale southern cuisine restaurant Pierre Pierre left two people injured on Friday night.
Officers responded to multiple calls about gunfire at the restaurant located on 13th Street near the Tribune Tower. The incident occurred around 10 p.m., prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.
A video posted on Instagram by chef and owner Cleashaun Hill showed disturbing scenes inside the restaurant, with blood on the floor and tables overturned.
According to Hill, a man and a woman were shot during the incident and are both in stable condition. However, details about what led to the shooting or the number of suspects involved remain unclear.
In a social media post, Hill mentioned that funds raised from a recent fundraiser will be used to improve security measures and crisis response at the restaurant. He also expressed intentions to relocate Pierre Pierre to a safer area.
