Shooting in West Oak Cliff Leaves One Dead, One Injured

Dallas, Texas — One man is dead and another is injured following a shooting in West Oak Cliff early Saturday morning. Dallas Police reported to the 300 block of W. Jefferson Boulevard at about 12:45 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.

When officers arrived, they found two male victims who had been shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported both individuals to a nearby hospital. Sadly, one victim died as a result of his injuries.

As of Saturday night, no arrests had been made, and police have not disclosed further information about the incident. Detective Andrew Knoebel is asking anyone with information to contact him at 214-671-3584.

This incident adds to a disturbing trend in recent weeks, as West Oak Cliff has seen multiple shooting incidents. Authorities continue to investigate the situation and are looking for leads.
