Jannik Sinner Alexander Zverev Tennis Final

VIENNA, Austria — Jannik Sinner will face Alexander Zverev in the final of the ATP 500 in Vienna on October 26, 2025, after both secured victories in their respective semifinals. Sinner defeated Alex De Minaur 6-3, 6-4, showcasing his dominance throughout the tournament without dropping a single set.

The final pits the top two seeds against one another, highlighting the rivalry between Sinner, the 2023 champion, and Zverev, who won the title in 2021. This match will mark only the third final in tournament history to feature previous champions.

Sinner, ranked No. 3 in the world, has been particularly effective on return, winning 13 of 36 games against his opponents’ serves during the tournament. He has maintained a high level of play, recording an impressive ace count and stellar service statistics.

Zverev, on the other hand, looks to add to his career total of 25 titles. The 2024 Paris Bercy champion has a remarkable 80% success rate on his first serves in the tournament. He took a decisive route to the final, defeating Lorenzo Musetti 6-4, 7-5, in a match where he consistently applied pressure on the Italian.

In their previous encounters, Zverev leads 4-3 overall, but Sinner emerged victorious in their last two meetings, including the Australian Open final earlier this year.

The final encounter is set to draw significant attention, as both players aim to capitalize on their current form. “I’m looking forward to the challenge against Jannik, he’s playing great tennis,” Zverev commented.

This anticipated match will begin at 14:00 local time at the Wiener Stadthalle.
