Snoop Dogg The Voice Season 28

Los Angeles, CA – Snoop Dogg is making waves this season as a coach on NBC‘s hit show, The Voice. With Season 28 in full swing, Dogg showed off a new look, donning a custom ‘Battles’ necklace that reads “Death Row Pictures” in sparkling letters.

In a nod to his roots, Snoop’s necklace celebrates his acquisition of Death Row Records, the label that kickstarted his career in the ’90s. Once an artist struggling to find his way, he is now its proud owner and has expanded the label’s reach into film production. In April 2025, Death Row Pictures signed a significant deal with NBCUniversal, establishing its base on the Universal lot, which also houses The Voice studio.

Donna Langley, Chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios, praised Snoop, saying, “Audiences around the world love Snoop and connect with his unparalleled showmanship and artistry.” She added, “There’s only one Snoop, and we’re so excited for him to join our unbelievable roster of creative partners.”

Fans can grab merchandise from various teams, including #TeamSnoop, to show support as the season progresses. Episodes air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c, with streaming available the next day on Peacock.

Ownership of the label has a personal significance for Snoop. He left Death Row during his career but expressed a desire to return. “I wanted the job. I didn’t need this job. I wanted it,” he stated. His vision includes re-releasing classic music and creating documentaries about the label’s legacy.

Snoop also shared insights for emerging artists: “Get with me, and you get the best of everything — and you get knowledge and information on the house,” he said, highlighting his marketing expertise and commitment to nurturing talent.

Fans eagerly anticipate how Snoop’s team will perform this season on The Voice as the competition heats up and new challenges arise.
