Las Vegas, NV – Southern Nevada is expected to experience increasing winds on Sunday, March 2, leading to rain chances on Monday. The upcoming weather shift indicates a change in spring patterns, bringing cooler temperatures and occasional showers early next week.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high of around 69°F. However, breezy conditions are set to develop in the afternoon, with southwest winds intensifying to 19-24 mph and gusts reaching up to 33 mph. Sunday night will bring cooler temperatures, plunging to a low of 46°F along with a 40% chance of showers.

On Monday, March 3, overcast skies are anticipated, with a 30% chance of rain, mainly before 10 a.m. The expected high for the day is around 62°F, a noticeable decrease from Saturday’s 75°F. Despite a slight weakening of winds, gusty conditions will still prevail.

Forecasts for Tuesday, March 4, suggest clearer skies with a high reaching 67°F. However, rain is predicted to return on Wednesday, March 5, quickly cooling the highs to about 65°F.

As the weather changes, travelers are advised to prepare for gusty winds on Sunday coupled with wet road conditions early Monday.
