Baltimore Weather Forecast Spring Showers

BALTIMORE, Md. — Spring is arriving in Baltimore accompanied by a series of rain showers that begin the week. The forecast for Monday, March 24, indicates light rain in the morning, but conditions are expected to improve throughout the day. Temperatures are anticipated to reach a pleasant mid-60s.

According to local meteorologists, Tuesday will start dry but another wave of showers is expected to arrive by the day’s end, with highs forecast in the low 60s. Early Wednesday may see lingering showers with temperatures cooling to the upper 50s.

The rest of the workweek appears drier, with Thursday expecting highs in the upper 50s and Friday gradually warming to low 60s. However, those planning outdoor activities this weekend should prepare for a mix of sunshine and clouds, with temperatures potentially reaching the upper 60s to low 70s.

The upcoming weather also indicates a potential for rain on Opening Day at Camden Yards next Monday, a significant event marking the start of the baseball season. Fronts moving through could change conditions quickly. Meteorologist Amy Aaronson indicated, “It appears we will have mild temperatures, but we cannot rule out rain.”

Looking more closely at the forecast, Wednesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy with lows around 45 degrees, while Thursday will bring showers with a high near 68. After a brief cool down due to a cold front, temperatures may dip into the mid-50s. The outlook for Friday is clearer, featuring sunny skies and a high near 56.

As the weekend progresses, Saturday is projected to be partly sunny with a high near 63, dropping to a low around 35 for the evening. Sunday may also see a high near 59 degrees with a chance of showers into the night.

Preliminary forecasts suggest the weather may shift considerably as we head into the following week. Rain is likely on Monday with another cold front pushing temperatures down to the 40s by Wednesday.

Stay tuned as local meteorologists continue to provide updates on this changing weather pattern.
